Bad pattern joints (joint printing): The pattern at the joint of the pattern plate overlaps or does not match (disengages). The digital printing machine is mostly caused by the poor adjustment of the conveyor belt or the improper adjustment of the table version, which affects the accuracy of the flower position.
Design misalignment (crooked set, inaccurate set): It is a printed product with a misaligned pattern. Most of them occur when the flowers are not allowed, the carving is not good, and the stickers are not good.
Frame marks (frame printing, take-off): The printing part shows abnormal streaks in the shape of the frame of the flower plate. It is mostly due to the poor conveyor belt and the poor installation of the pattern frame.
Bending (flower skew): that is, the pattern is inclined or curved to the warp and weft yarns of the fabric. It usually occurs when the printed grey fabric (silk) itself has a weft skew or poor seam head or skewed platen cloth.
Lubai: A part of the warp or weft is turned over or moved to the front and back of the fabric, showing a pattern that resembles the traces left after being scratched. Most of the defects are caused by poor color paste penetration and improper handling after printing (uneven tension, etc.).
Uneven color (spotting) of the print: A part of the print has become mottled like the shape of the skin of the sand fish. The defect mostly occurs when the viscosity of the color paste is not appropriate, the mesh of the screen is improperly selected, or the patch is not uniform.
Bleeding (melting): The color of the printed pattern bleeds out, the outline of the pattern is not clear, and the color is blurred. It is caused by the low viscosity of color paste, high dye concentration, excessive amount of printing paste or high amount of hygroscopic agent.
The color of the printed pattern smears the stains caused by other parts. Most of them occur when the platen of the printing machine is not clean, the drying after printing is not fully overlapped with each other, or the fabrics are in contact with each other in the steaming process. In Japan, some factories perform thorough washing under rope conditions using a controlled method of adjusting the tension of the fabric.
Double-edged color difference (uneven squeegee): It shows the shades of color at intervals in the transverse direction of the fabric. This defect mostly occurs when the screen frame, the scraper is not installed properly or the scraping is uneven.
The oval printing machine belongs to continuous processing, high production efficiency, and has the advantages of roller and flat screen printing, but there are limitations in pattern fineness and printing color intensity. Remember: Rotary screen printing has limitations in color selection.
